We are a general book store with a large children's section featuring a wide range of popular titles and a hidey hole under the stairs.
Our galleried conservatory upstairs has a large selection of second hand art and architecture books as well as a good history section. This makes it a nice stop if you are visiting the nearby Hauser and Wirth Galley in Bruton.
We have a cafe serving teas, coffees and cakes where you are welcome to sit and relax to read a book.

Castle Cary is an attractive Somerset Market Town featuring distinctive honey coloured stone buildings. It has a good variety of attractive shops and is the home of the Castle Cary gallery of Clerkenwell Fine Art. It is on the mainline Paddington to Plymouth train service which stops at Castle Cary Station. It is a turn on the A371 which connects to the A303 at Wincanton.
